Essendon captain Zach Merrett, 251 games played the future of the club has stopped committing to the public.
Merrett spoke nine on the red carpet before the number of brownlow medals in Crown Casino, talked about his love for the bombing planes and said he understood that the club’s best interests came before.
Merrett met with Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell two weeks ago and the news blinded Essendon. The leading sample captain of the bomber had dinner with the Bombers coach Brad Scott a few days ago.

“I never know that I will never lose the love for the club and they will fight for the club, Mer Merrett said from the nine bombardment planes.
Im I am a contracted player and I waited for them to do the best for the club. No player or individual is bigger than the club.
“The only thing I will say to the fans is, ‘Thank you for your support for the last few years. This has been difficult for the last few weeks, but your support, your support messages were incredible’.”
Merrett has not yet played in a winning final for the bombers who won a famous final in 2004.
However, Fox said that his future depends on more than tasting the success of the finals.
“There are wider things than that and I will go into more detail at a later date, but I will pass tonight, I will wake up tomorrow and return to education, then I will worry.”
He also spoke to the seven and added that he did not want a trade from the bombardment aircraft.
“I haven’t worked with my choice yet,” he said. “There will be a lot to experience in the next few weeks, there will be some conversations, there will be some factors. However, there is quite uncertainty everywhere, things will be made clearer in the coming weeks.”
Merrett, the red favorite of the next month, won the sixth Crichton medal as the best and most suitable player of Essendon, and said that there was a “big dialogue” around the future of bombing planes.

“[Coach] Brad [Scott]- [CEO] Craig [Vozzo] And [vice president] Andrew Welsh was very supportive, [there’s been] Too much dialogue between our four. These decisions [on whether there’ll be a trade] I haven’t been cleaned yet, so we’ll see how we’re going. ”
Merrett said that he did not make a “final decision or whether he will demand a trade:“ No, [we’re] I’m still working on it … As I said, I will continue to work on it, things will become clearer in the coming weeks and we will go there ”.
The number of Crichton medal votes will be held on 2 October.
