Police swarm Slough Iceland car park as woman found dead | UK | News

A woman was found dead in broad daylight in a supermarket parking lot while people in the area were shopping. On Saturday, February 21, at around 14.30, emergency services were called to the area in front of a store in Iceland, where it was unfortunately announced that a 42-year-old woman had died.
The tragic incident took place on Montrose Avenue in Slough, just meters from the entrances to Iceland and other stores including B&M. Thames Valley Police attended the scene and cordoned off part of the car park, and a blue forensic tent was also set up to allow officers to investigate the tragic death.
A file was being prepared for the coroner on Sunday, police said, adding that her death was being treated as “unexplained.”
The woman’s official identity has not yet been disclosed.
On Saturday evening, the police cordon was still in place in the area and many police vehicles, including two pickup trucks, remained in the parking lot.
