Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy holds road show in poll-bound Yedulapuram municipality

Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the Congress government is trying to develop urban infrastructure to provide improved civic amenities in urban local bodies. He was speaking during a promotional tour in the poll-bound Yedulapuram municipality of Khammam district on Tuesday. Mr. Reddy appealed to voters to elect ruling Congress party candidates in the February 11 municipal elections to spearhead accelerated development of Yedulapuram and other urban civic institutions. “The Congress government will continue to work with renewed determination to guide the State on the path of progress and ensure the welfare of all,” he said, outlining the State government’s flagship welfare schemes, including the Indiramma Housing scheme.

He harshly criticized the previous BRS executives, accusing them of showing callous indifference towards the poor and oppressed during their nearly 10-year rule.
