Populist billionaire Andrej Babiš wins Czech parliamentary election | Czech Republic
Populist billionaire Andrej Babiš won the Czech Parliamentary elections on a political return that put the country into a course of supporting Ukraine and in a pro -Russian way to Hungary and Slovakia.

The anti -immigrant power, the Freedom and the Direct Democracy Party, received 7.9%, while the right -wing group said that the drivers received 6.8%. The two are potential partners for Babiš if they want to have the majority government.
Victory Babiš is preparing to join the ranks of Robert Fico from Slovakia, who refused to provide military aid to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán from Hungary and their countries to Ukraine.
The Czech Republic has been a loyal supporter of Ukraine since Russia’s full -scale invasion in February 2022. The country donated weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including heavy weapons, and artillery shells are behind an attempt that bought Ukraine’s EU needs from countries other than EU.
Babiš questioned such support and also refused to fully approve the commitment to significantly increasing defense expenditures.
