Possession of a firearm
Pierre Ayotte, a member of the Hells Angels from the Trois-Rivières section, was arrested early Wednesday morning in connection with a firearm possession incident.

Ayotte, 58, a resident of Saint-Paul-de-Joliette, was apprehended by Sûreté du Québec investigators as he was leaving a residence in Saint-Tite, in Mauricie.

He appeared in the following hours at the Shawinigan courthouse and was charged with possession of a prohibited firearm for dangerous purposes and possession of a prohibited firearm without holding a permit.
According to our information, Ayotte’s arrest follows a search carried out by the police in the Hells Angels premises of Hérouxville in Mauricie a year ago and during which at least one firearm was seized.
Ayotte has some criminal history for assault, assault with a weapon, mischief and breach of conditions.
