Postal worker charged over eastern suburbs bank card theft
It was claimed that a postal worker had played 70 pieces of mail sent to East suburban residents of Sydney, received a debit card and then supplied to organized criminals using a $ 1.4 million fraud.
The 56 -year -old postman, Edgecliff, Woollahra and Double Bay are allegedly targeted by wealthy suburbs.
During Dawn raids on Wednesday, the police seized more than $ 14,000 cash, a special encrypted penalty communication device, stolen bank cards and Rolex Watch and Louis Vuitton bags.
He was arrested at a postman Rockdale and was taken to the Kogarah Police Station, where he had 70 postal thefts and a financial advantage against 143 points. He was also accused of joining a crime group.
At a different Rockale address, 35 -year -old and 27 -year -old men were arrested in Roselands, and then accused of honestly obtaining financial advantage against 14 and 76 points through deception.

The 35 -year -old person was also accused of having stolen mail, having banned drugs and participating in a crime group by taking 50 censual property.
All three men went to court on Thursday and was rejected on bail.
Strike Force Rubi, supported by Australia Post, is expected to have more arrest and accusation.
