Pray to Maa Durga there is a new government restoring West Bengal’s lost ‘Sonar Bangla’ glory post polls, says Amit Shah

Trade Union Interior Minister Amit Shah opened the Durga Puja Pandal from Santosh Mitra Square in Kalcutta on Friday, September 26, 2025 and said that he prayed to the goddess who published the 2026 Western Bengal Assembly surveys, and there is a new government restoring the state’s lost ‘Sonar Bangla’ Glory.
Mr. Shah said that Bengal should once again be safe, peaceful and prosperous, and that the Nobel Prize -winning Rabindranath Tagore should fulfill his dream.
“I prayed to Maa Durga that after this parliamentary election, the state was a government that could make ‘Sonar Bangla’ (Golden Bengal),” he said.

The Minister of the Interior also seduced deaths in recent events about the rain in the state.
Shah, “I respect those who lost their lives in the events of rain in Bengal,” he said.
On September 23, at least 11 people died after heavy rain in the metropolis and adjacent areas.
Mr. Shah came to Kalcutta on Thursday, September 25, 2025 and was taken to the airport by Senior State BJP leader Rahul Sinha.
It is planned to visit the Temple of Kalighat in the South Kalcutta and present Puja and then open the Durga Puja Pandal of Paschim Banga Sanskrit with BJP supported at the Eastern Zonal Cultural Center (EZCC) in Salt Lake.
