India on Tuesday (November 11, 2025) rejected Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s claims that he attributed a terror attack in Islamabad to New Delhi as absolutely baseless, saying it was a predictable tactic of this country’s “crazy” leaders to “concoct” false narratives.
Hours after 12 people were killed in a suicide attack outside a court in Pakistan’s capital, Prime Minister Sharif accused groups “active with India’s support” of joining the strike.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the international community is aware of the truth and will not be fooled by Pakistan’s “desperate” tricks.
Responding to a question about the allegations, the official said, “India unequivocally rejects the baseless and baseless allegations made by the clearly distraught Pakistani leadership.”
“It is a predictable tactic for Pakistan to spin false narratives against India to divert the attention of its own people from the ongoing military-led constitutional subversion and power grab within the country,” he said.
Sharif’s government has come under attack from opposition parties in Pakistan after it introduced a Constitutional amendment to create a new post of defense forces chief.

“The international community is well aware of the truth and will not be misled by Pakistan’s desperate diversionary games,” Mr. Jaiswal said.
Regarding the suicide attack in Islamabad, Pakistani Minister of Internal Affairs Muhsin Naqvi said that the attacker wanted to enter the courthouse complex, but when he failed to do so, he detonated the explosives next to a police vehicle at the door of the building.
While Prime Minister Sharif accused “active India-backed” groups of being involved in the attack, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said the Afghan Taliban had sent a message through the bombing.
