David Beckham downs shots and pokes fun wife Victoria’s lack of cooking skills as he single-handedly prepares the family’s Sunday lunch – after daughter Harper joked Posh could ‘burn water’
David Beckham poked fun at his wife Victoria’s lack of cooking skills as she prepared the family’s Sunday lunch by herself this week.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Posh, 51, shared a clip of the former footballer, 50, preparing a feast for his visiting parents.
‘I’m making a Sunday roast as our parents are due to arrive in a few hours, which they must be very excited about,’ David told the camera.
When Victoria asks if she needs any help, she cheekily asks “from whom?” he asked. After Spice Girl offered to help, he hit back: ‘Absolutely not, stay away!’.
He chuckled and asked: ‘What do you mean stay away? I’m ready to help’, to which David humorously responded: ‘Darling, we don’t make ham and cheese toasties’.
In the second clip, busy David told how he made a Yorkshire pudding mix before his wife announced that both parents had arrived.

Victoria said, “Do you want another?” When he asked, exasperated England dropped a shot. to which he replied breathlessly: ‘Yes please’.

Earlier this week, Posh gushed over son Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel as she celebrated her 30th birthday.
She took to Instagram on Saturday to share a series of photos in tribute to Jackie.
Beckham’s youngest son and Jackie, 30, first started dating in June 2024, and the couple officially confirmed their romance on Instagram in October.
Sharing a sweet photo of herself in the back of a chauffeured car with Jackie, Victoria wrote: ‘Happy birthday, we hope you have a wonderful day and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you.

The fashion designer admitted he had never cooked before and said his 14-year-old daughter Harper joked that she could ‘burn water’.

Elsewhere David added a photo and wrote: ‘Happy birthday to a very special person inside and out.
‘Thank you for making my son the best version of himself.’
This comes after Jackie publicly hit back on Saturday after a troll attacked her age gap relationship with Cruz.
Jackie had posted a family photo showing herself and Cruz sitting in the front row at Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show on Friday.
Forming a united front, they sat next to Romeo, 23, Harper, 14, and dad David, 50, with Brooklyn, 26, noticeably absent.
Jackie gave a touching tribute, saying: ‘What an incredible show and in my favorite dress yet. @victoriabeckham honored to witness it all come to life.’
However, in response, a troll commented: ‘Why is a 29 year old girl dating a 20 year old? This is very strange. I’m talking about Jackie dating Cruz.’
Shooting back, Jackie said: ‘Because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal and also quite handsome.’
