Premium Bonds prize checker: When is July’s NS&I draw and how can I check if I’ve won?

Every month, as Premium Bonds winning numbers are announced, registrations have the chance to win big prizes. There are 24 million people in more than 127 billion banks participating in the government -supported savings plan.
Premium bonds are an investment product of the government’s national savings and investment (NS & I). Every month, millions of protectives enter a prize lottery to win cash prizes ranging from 25 to 1 million £ and two millionaires are made at each lottery.
Every 1 £ 22,000 has a chance to win. Minimum investment is 25 £ 25, maximum £ 50,000.
These savings do not accrue interest as in normal bank accounts, but the electronic random number indicator equipment is opposed to a random digital award selector called ‘Ernie’.
The date of the lottery of this month Wednesday, July 2. The results of this lottery are available one day later and are published by NS & I Here.
What is the chance to win?
Every month there are many premium bond winners, but the chance to win the real is quite low. Most people will never win an award, so their investments will remain the same. However, the plan is also risk -free, that is, money will not disappear.
The analysis by Martin Lewis, considering all the gains, found that the ‘interest rate’ in the premium bond accounts is 4 percent – but most people will not see such a thing. Many savings accounts in the UK offer a higher interest rate than this, which will be much more consistent.
The distribution of awards changes a little every month. Here are the results in January 2025:
- £ 1 million x 2
- 100,000 £ x 82
- £ 50,000 x 163
- £ 25,000 x 328
- 10,000 £ x 818
- £ 5.000 x 1.636
- £ 1,000 x 17.163
- £ 500 x 51.489
- 100 £ x 1.987.844
- £ 50 x 1.987.844
- £ 25 x 1.803.871
