President Donald Trump issues Truth Social post about Syria, Israel

President Donald Trump called it “very important” that “nothing” comes to light that would derail Syria’s transformation into a “prosperous state.”
The commander-in-chief’s cryptic comments came days after Israel launched an operation in Syria.
“The United States is very pleased with the results of hard work and determination in the Country of Syria. We are doing everything in our power to ensure that the Government of Syria continues to do what is intended and important to build a true and prosperous Country. One of the things that helped them greatly was my ending of very strong and painful sanctions – which I believe is truly appreciated by Syria, its Leadership, and its People!” The President said on Truth Social: to mail.

“It is very important that Israel maintains a strong and genuine dialogue with Syria and that nothing happens that would interfere with Syria’s transformation into a prosperous state. The new President of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa, is working diligently to ensure that good things happen and that both Syria and Israel have a long and prosperous relationship together. This is a historic opportunity and adds to the SUCCESS already achieved for PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST!” Trump added.
The IDF noted that soldiers were injured during the operation in Syria last week.

“The two leaders stressed the importance and necessity of disarming Hamas and demilitarizing the Gaza Strip and discussed expanding peace agreements,” the prime minister’s office said in X. “US President Trump invited Prime Minister Netanyahu to a meeting at the White House in the near future,” another post read.
