President Trump issues 'MAKING FEDERAL ARCHITECTURE BEAUTIFUL AGAIN' executive order
President Donald Trump, a rich real estate king who cares about building aesthetics, issued an executive order that declares traditional and classic architecture as a preferred style for federal buildings on Thursday.
“Applicable federal public buildings should raise and beautify public spaces, inspire the human soul, prevent the United States and command the respect from the general people. In addition, it should be defined as civil buildings and proper regional architectural heritage should be respected.” order claims.
This language is fully matched with the language in a similar executive order published at the tail end of the first period of President Joe Biden in 2021.
