Prince Harry and Meghan at glam celeb gala as royals mark Remembrance | Royal | News

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a busy Saturday attending various celebrity events in Hollywood, the Royal Family in the UK were also out in full force for Remembrance Week. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed at a star-studded fundraising gala last night, shortly before heading to Kris Jenner’s birthday party.
That same evening, through the Archewell Foundation, they released a new announcement about their philanthropic efforts amid a “growing hunger crisis” in the United States; just the royal family, including the King, Queen and Princess of Wales, were attending a poignant event for the Festival of Remembrance in London. New photos have emerged from the glitzy premiere in West Hollywood, showing Harry and Meghan posing with a variety of celebrities, including their pal tennis star Serena Williams.
The Baby2Baby Gala is held annually to raise funds for children living in poverty and honors a famous mother who embodies the charity’s mission with the Giving Tree Award.
This year the award went to fellow Sussex’s Miss Williams, who dazzled in a black and white bodycon dress.
The fundraiser raised a whopping £14 million ($18 million), bringing together celebrities, entrepreneurs and philanthropists to support the organisation.
Harry and Meghan skipped the “red carpet” and went straight inside to pose with friends.
Those in attendance included Orlando Bloom, Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, among other big Hollywood names.
The Sussex couple were later spotted at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party; Harry wore a dark suit and tie tuxedo, while Meghan wore the same outfit, consisting of a long black skirt with a turtleneck and black tie sandals by Aquazzurra. In both appearances, she carried a red poppy pinned to the left side of her shoulder.
In a statement on Saturday, Harry and Meghan announced they “support” efforts to provide meals and groceries to people in need in local communities.
Harry and Meghan’s charitable foundation said it was offering immediate assistance to those in need by making “emergency donations” to local partners including the Santa Barbara County Food Bank, Our Big Kitchen LA and Project Angel Food.
The couple also urged people to donate whenever and wherever possible, stating that “caring for each other is both a collective action and a personal choice.”
