Prince Harry LIVE: Invictus Games interrupted by alarm | Royal | News

Prince Harry was back to his usual fun-loving, cheerful self today as he was forced to play a number of sports at a special Invictus Games event in Birmingham. The Duke of Sussex, who lost his £50 million privacy lawsuit against the publishers of the Daily Mail earlier this week, tried his hand at pickleball, laser running and wheelchair rugby in a series of exhibition matches a year before the annual tournament.
Harry showed off his skills with the shuttlecock when he tried pickleball, an alternative to tennis, at the National Exhibition Center (NEC) in Birmingham. Missing was the Duchess of Sussex, who was due to attend the event but did not fly to England with Harry earlier this week due to security concerns. She is expected to fly to England with her two children later today.
But in the middle of the event, while chatting with staff, a loud car alarm disturbed him. It turned out to be one of the sponsored cars in the corner of the NEC and was shut down a few minutes later. There was no security problem.
