Prince Harry offers his LA home as a hideout for Beatrice and Eugenie | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have offered their Montecito mansion as a retreat to Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie if they want some relief from the Epstein scandal. The York siblings have kept a relatively low profile since their parents Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were hit with new revelations, and the Sussexes are understood to have offered them some support.

A source said mail on sunday: “Harry contacted the girls and said something like: ‘He knows what it’s like to be at the wrong end of the establishment.’ He said it was an open invitation, especially for Beatrice, if she wanted it.”

The Duke of Sussex has remained close to his cousin Beatrice since he and Meghan decided to step down as working royals in 2020. The 37-year-old, who has two young daughters, is understood to have taken her parents’ fall from grace particularly hard.

Andrew was arrested on suspicion of abuse of public office on February 19, his 66th birthday. He has not commented publicly on the latest allegations but has strongly denied previous allegations made against him.

Although the former Duke of York has been officially stripped of his title as prince and kicked out of his lavish home at Windsor Manor, he remains eighth in line to the throne. As a result of his recent arrest and a number of allegations made against him in the Epstein files, the Government is considering legal action to remove him from probate.

There have also been calls for the removal of his daughters, who are ninth and 12th in line to the throne respectively. They also appear in many of the Epstein files, although no wrongdoing is implied.

According to the publication’s report, Beatrice and Eugenie have been banned from joining the Royal Family at public events such as Royal Ascot this summer.
