Prince Harry opens door to return but Meghan ‘unlikely’ to follow | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Prince Harry is reportedly keen to return to the UK, but Meghan Markle is resisting the move, according to a royal expert.
The couple have been living in California for five years and it seems the novelty has worn off for Harry, who is said to be longing to return to British shores. It is claimed that Prince Charles and Prince William are leading the “Bring Back Harry” campaign.
The Sussexes are often seen as a package deal, choosing to live in the same country. But it’s always helpful to have options; That’s why we consulted Lynn Carratt, a PR expert at E20 Communications and knowledgeable on Royal affairs.
Carratt said Express USA: “While a return isn’t guaranteed, it’s not off the table either. Harry is keeping his options open – which is why this conversation is resurfacing.”
He also commented: “Meghan has had a difficult experience here and is unlikely to welcome a full-time return. Her identity, support system and career opportunities are tightly tied to the US.”
There was much speculation about Harry potentially returning to the UK, and as Carratt noted, he did nothing to dispel these rumors.
He observed: “There’s definitely a lot of noise around this idea, and Harry hasn’t done much to quiet it.”
He also commented: “I wouldn’t say he’s packed his bags yet, but I think he’s left the door open wider than it has in years.”
Harry recently wrote an essay expressing his love for Great Britain and mentioned that he is “currently” residing in the US; This choice of words got the PR professional thinking because “Harry knows the weight of the phrases he uses.
“This sounds more like someone who leaves room for change in the future, rather than a man who has completely settled abroad. He has always said that he wants his children to know the country they grew up in and understand their heritage.”
There are happily married couples living in different cities, states and even countries, leading us to question whether this is something Harry and Meghan might consider, a topic Carratt is also exploring.
He doesn’t intend for Meghan to return to the UK permanently because things didn’t go so well the first time around, but perhaps the Sussexes can devise a plan that allows both the Duke and Duchess to spend more time on home soil.
“In today’s world, this is not as unusual as it once seemed. Many couples maintain strong marriages while living in different cities or even on different continents, especially when their careers take them in different directions.
“And Harry and Meghan have always done things differently.”
Former Royal photographer Ian Pelham Turner has a stronger view on Harry moving into the house and believes the Duke is serious about it.
Pelham Turner, a close acquaintance of Harry’s late mother Princess Diana, said: “Harry is very serious about returning to Britain and I feel it would be welcome for Meghan and the children to spend part of the year in Britain and part of the year in America.
“In this day and age, I see no reason why they shouldn’t take on royal commitments, particularly with disabled people but also with ethnic communities.”
