Princess Andre says vicious row between dad Peter and mum Katie Price ‘RUINED’ her ITV show as she opens up about their bitter feud

Princess Andre admitted a violent row between dad Peter and mum Katie Price ruined the ITV show.
The 18-year-old rising star is back in the second series of ITV2 reality show The Princess Diaries.
The reality series, which focuses on the phenomena that shape life, was the channel’s biggest launch in 2025, apart from Love Island and Big Brother.
Despite her success, her father’s appearance on the show was overshadowed by negative press while her mother was nowhere to be seen.
Katie expressed her disappointment at being “disrespected” and “ignored”, claiming Peter and his management team were behind the snub.
Now, in the first episode of the new series, Princess explains how the show caused so much drama between her parents.

Katie and Peter was filmed in 2004. The former couple married in 2005 and separated in 2009.
‘It was hard to deal with,’ he says, reportedly Sun.
‘It caused a lot of family drama. This really upset me; I felt really bad.
‘I was so excited for the series to come out and I still received incredible support but it ruined it and I’m sad that it caused controversy.
‘I felt like everything was my fault. I thought: “Oh my God, this is not what I wanted.”‘
Last year Peter and his stepmother Emily decided to pull out of the second season of the ITV2 reality show after Katie’s backlash.
Insiders told the Daily Mail that the influencer made the decision after discussions with her pop star father.
A source revealed: ‘Pete and Emily will not appear on seasons two and three of The Princess Diaries. This issue was discussed between him and the Princess, and as a family they decided that it was better for the show to focus solely on the Princess rather than on her family life.
‘Katie’ was obviously very hurt about not being asked to film with Princess in season one, causing a lot of drama and upset behind the scenes.

Katie vents her anger at Princess’ first reality show rejection during rant on her podcast
‘Nobody wants the Princess to feel stuck between her two parents, so Pete has taken a big step back and hopes it will solve a lot of problems.
‘Everyone wants the best for the Princess and after all, it’s her show, she’s 18 now and can stand on her own.’
Katie and Peter publicly confirmed their bitter war of words was over earlier this month, as they said they were trying to create a ‘calm and supportive environment’ for their children.
The former couple married in 2005, just over a year after they met as campmates on the third series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
They would go on to welcome their two children, Junior and Princess, who are now 20, before announcing their sudden separation and subsequent divorce in 2009.
Katie and Peter have since announced that the feud following their divorce has been resolved.
This announcement marks their first interaction in 16 years; The former couple now insist that they intend to ‘close the door to the past and move on to a new page with positivity and respect’.
They added: ‘We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children.

“We have reached a mutual agreement, both legal and personal, confirming that neither of us will speak negatively about the other in the future.
‘This decision reflects a shared commitment to our family and stability. We want to be united for our children.
‘We hope this is the beginning of a positive relationship. ‘We ask for understanding and support from both the media and the public as we move forward.’
Andre previously claimed that Junior and Princess live with him for their ‘own safety’ and admitted that keeping quiet about their personal situation had been ‘frustrating’ over the years.
In a message posted on Instagram in 2025, he explained: ‘Out of respect for my children and loved ones, I have remained silent for sixteen years in the face of the repeated lies my ex-husband and his family have told, but remaining silent has been incredibly frustrating.
‘That job ends today. Recent comments about my children’s well-being and living arrangements are compelling me to rectify the situation.
‘For well-documented reasons and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and stayed with me until they reached adulthood.’
He added: ‘In 2019 the family courts made a legally binding order to implement this regulation. Out of respect for my children, I have never made this public before.
‘It was revealed that my ex-wife had made false allegations in publicly documented cases in 2011 and 2015. He was ordered to pay significant compensation and legal costs and to apologize to me and my management. The same lies are repeated today.
‘Unfortunately, there are many more lies and false accusations that I have not yet addressed. These will now be addressed in the coming months.’
A spokesman for Price told The Mirror: ‘Kate is in a much better and clearer frame of mind and at peace with the situation, it’s in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit-for-tat comments, but importantly she’s dealing with it in the right way and it’s now in the hands of her lawyers. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied like she once was.’
The second season of The Princess Diaries will be available to watch on ITV2 and ITVX from 8 March.
