Princess Kate wears new £1.5k gold necklace that means 2 things | Royal | News

Catherine, 44, and William, 43, arrived at Lambeth Palace to meet the first woman to head the Church of England. Catherine wore a custom Edeline Lee textured midi dress and debuted her embroidered Gold Keeper’s Heartprint Chain Necklace at the engagement, priced at £1,555.

The elegant piece was handcrafted in the UK using recycled 9-carat gold and engraved with a handwritten message, although it’s unclear what it says.

Kate showed off one of Daniella Draper’s designs at Wimbledon last year alongside William and their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The jewels featured in the jewelery were from April, the month in which Prince Louis, who was not present at Wimbledon, was born.

The meeting, held in the archbishop’s study, was a relaxed conversation, with discussions on the contribution of churches across the country to their communities and the work of William and Catherine through the Royal Foundation.

The royal couple look forward to spending time with Archbishop Sarah and building a strong working relationship with her.

The visit follows Archbishop Sarah’s tribute to His Majesty the King as Supreme Governor of the Church of England at Buckingham Palace yesterday.

Archbishop Sarah said: “It was a privilege to welcome the Prince and Princess of Wales to Lambeth Palace today. I know we share the same hope for a better world and I look forward to working together in the years to come.”

“I will continue to keep them and their families in my prayers.”
