Online child abuse blitz results in multiple arrests

The Australian Federal Police Raids, which are part of the Titan Operation, were carried out with NSW Police and Australian border power:
WHAT HAPPENED?
* Between 28 August and September 11, fifteen search orders were carried out
* Nine people were arrested in Metropolitan Sydney, Central Coast and Wollongong
What was he accused of?
* Nine wage people are accused of various crimes and face maximum penalty in prison for 10 to 20 years.
* In the most serious situation, a 62 -year -old man is allegedly paying a Philippine -centered child smuggler for a three -video interviews believed to be sexual abuse of live streaming child.
* A 37 -year -old man, members of the child abuse materials published, exchanged and discussed more than one online group conversations is claimed to be the manager.
* It is claimed that a 34 -year -old woman uploaded 14 files to a social media platform containing child abuse material
* The remaining six defendants are all men and between the ages of 18 and 43
Does any of the defendants work with children?
* No – None of the employment positions that allows them to access children
How do I cover my children from exposure?
* AFP suggests that parents talk to their children about online risks, who interacts with them, and ask which their privacy settings have been enabled and published on their devices.
* AFP Commander Brett James says that these conversations may be uncomfortable, but “more important than ever.”
* Federal police, parents advise you to consult the Australian center to resist the children’s exploitation website
Does the child exploitation material increase?
* There has been an increase in the reporting of child abuse materials, the AFP increase connects to better coordination between community and law enforcement officers
