Procter & Gamble (PG) Q4 2026 earnings

Procter & Gamble On Wednesday, it reported mixed quarterly results as lackluster demand for its products caused sales to be weaker than expected.

The company’s shares fell more than 3% in premarket trading.

P&G reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company was $3.04 billion, or $1.26 per share, compared to $3.62 billion, or $1.48 per share, a year earlier.

Excluding restructuring costs, transaction gains and other items, the company earned $1.43 per share.

Like many consumer companies, it has seen demand for its products weaken as shoppers become more value-conscious, using cheaper private-label versions instead or extending the lifespan of shampoos and laundry detergents.

P&G expects core earnings per share for fiscal 2027 to be in the range of $6.89 to $7.11. The company also projects total sales growth of 1% to 3% compared to the previous year. Wall Street had forecast earnings per share of $7.04 and revenue growth of 2.7% for fiscal 2027.

P&G also announced On Wednesday, CEO Shailesh Jejurikar will become chairman of the board effective Aug. 1, in addition to his current role. He will replace former CEO Jon Moeller.
