United Breweries bags registration for iconic Kingfisher jingle ‘Oo la la la la le o’ — Here’s what you need to know

Indian brewing and distilling giant United Breweries has successfully acquired the audio cue recording for the iconic Kingfisher song ‘Oo la la la la le o’, which is associated with the brewer, the news portal reported. Bar and Bench On Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Class 32 includes products such as beer, soft drinks, mineral and aerated waters, fruit drinks and fruit juices, syrups and preparations for making soft drinks. Class 33 includes alcoholic beverages (other than beers) and alcoholic preparations used to make beverages.

It was reported that after the examination, the Trademark Registry Office determined that there was no identical or similar sound mark. The application was therefore accepted and declared pursuant to Article 20(1) of the Trademarks Act before proceeding with registration.
