Dodgers’ Kiké Hernández blasts fan’s angry letter over White House skip, exposes address to followers

Dodgers fan favorite Kiké Hernández has earned a reputation for her October highlights and easy-going personality.
But after opting to skip the July 23 White House visit that would have celebrated the team’s 2026 World Series title, the service veteran found himself at the center of a heated political debate.

“It will be difficult to be in two cities at the same time,” Hernández said recently. But he quickly added a more sincere takeaway: “If I had been active, I probably wouldn’t have gone anyway.”
LOS ANGELES DODGERS HOST FAITH NEXT NIGHT BROTHERS OF PERMANENT TOLERANCE DISASTER
This admission did not go down well with a disgruntled fan named Larry, who sent a typed letter to the ballpark, taking direct aim at the Puerto Rican-born star:

Instead of trashing the hate mail, Hernández sent a photo of the letter along with Larry’s unredacted return address to his 1.5 million social media followers.
“SO to Larry for this lovely letter!” Hernández I added a title to the post.. “Next time, at least have it written by hand, you good sir!”
Hernández isn’t the only Dodger to forgo a trip to Washington.
While Hernández attended the team’s visit to the White House in April 2025 following the 2024 championship, he later stated that he regretted the experience.

Superstar teammate Mookie Betts is also expected to miss the July 23 event.
Betts previously made headlines in 2019 when he chose not to visit the White House while playing for the Boston Red Sox during Donald Trump’s first term.
Hernández has long voiced his opposition to President Trump’s immigration stance.
Tensions surrounding the Dodgers reached boiling point in 2025 after rumors of immigration officials being present at Dodger Stadium.

While there were initially rumors that ICE was targeting fans, OutKick confirmed at the time that the staff were actually California Border Control agents conducting routine operations unrelated to domestic sweeps.

Championship White House visits were once a universally accepted, nonpartisan victory lap for championship teams. Today they are an ideological battleground.
Whether you agree with Larry or the actor, sending personal information to a fan over a written review crosses the line.
