Putin humiliated as photo op reveals president’s ‘small-man syndrome’ | World | News

Vladimir Putin’s diminutive stature has been brutally exposed for all to see in a deeply embarrassing photo fiasco. The Kremlin boss, nicknamed “the damn dwarf” by many disgruntled Russians, is known for being very sensitive about his height.

He is believed to be between 5ft 2″ and 5ft 5″ tall, with some claiming he is 70cm shorter than the global average male height. Since the Kremlin tyrant is obsessed with projecting power and physical strength, any situation that would tarnish this image is normally avoided at all costs. At staged public events, strict rules apply stating that no one can be taller than the great leader himself.

Even his bodyguards must be smaller than him, according to a Kremlin source.

However, in a recent incident, the golden rule appears to have been carelessly forgotten by the President’s media aides.

A normal-sized woman was allowed to stand too close to the Kremlin tyrant, inadvertently displaying her diminutive stature. She towered over him, even though he was apparently wearing “tall boy” shoes and was standing on a raised platform that gave him an extra 2cm.

Undoubtedly, those responsible for this accident will be punished most severely in the coming days.

One eagle-eyed social media user quickly announced the embarrassing situation to the world.

Jay in Kiev gleefully shared: “Someone on the Kremlin PR team is definitely going out the window after today’s mishap allowing Putin to be accompanied by a normal-sized woman even while the dictator is wearing his tallest stilettos.

“There was a period when no one of normal height was allowed near Putin at these events.”

Many have suggested that the Kremlin tyrant suffers from a “Napoleon complex”, a label that angers the Russian leader.

In the immediate aftermath of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, British Conservative MP Sir Julian Lewis described Putin as “under the strong grip of the short man syndrome”.

Putin faced a similar humiliating scenario; She was “topped” by a group of women at an International Women’s Day reception.
