PV Sindhu Stranded in Dubai Amid Escalating Iran Conflict, Says She Is Safe

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu says she is safe but stranded in Dubai as tensions linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran continue to escalate, creating panic and chaos in the region.
In a post on social media, Sindhu said it was “difficult to understand what is happening right now” and described the situation as horrific as interventions were heard from above and disturbing videos emerged on the internet. He said that the rapid escalation of events shook many people.
Saying that Dubai is a city that she loves very much and where she always feels safe and lively, Sindhu said that the current atmosphere is difficult to understand. He thanked everyone who reached out to check on his safety.
“I am currently safe, stranded in Dubai with my team, and doing well as the situation regarding the war with Iran continues to evolve,” he wrote.
Sindhu also described the chaotic scenes at the airport where many families were stranded in limbo and waiting anxiously. “We all hope we will get through this soon,” he added.
Commenting on the crisis, the Olympic medalist said such moments remind us of how fragile normal life can be and prayed for safety and peace for all affected.
