Queen Camilla is celebrating her 78th birthday today. He was born in London on 17 July 1947, and Camilla Rosemary Shand was named after him. The royal, who married King Charles in 2005, grew up in East Sussex and South Kensington in England, and then studied in England, Switzerland and France.
As the second wife of the sovereign, the royal has come a long way since he was now “third person” in his first marriage to King Charles’s deceased Princess Diana. As a queen, Camilla went to one of the most hardworking royal rather than being one of the most revised women in England.

Camilla first met Prince Charles in 1970 – after being introduced by a mutual friend Lucia Santa Cruz.
