At least 4 students injured in shooting at Colorado high school: Officials

According to the Jefferson County Sharif Office, at least four students were injured after firing in a high school in Colorado in the afternoon of Wednesday.

The Şerif office is a student who uses a pistol gun to shoot other students at an update on Wednesday.

The Şerif office confirmed that Evergreen High School students, including ABC News, were transferred to a regional hospital. Authorities, local time at 12:40 at the school, they received the first report of a fire, he said.

According to law enforcement officers, the suspect was engaged and neutralized. Authorities sweep the campus, but the school is no longer locked.

“This is the most terrible thing you think may be,” the sheriff office spokesman Jacki Kelley said.

Three students are critical and a hospital spokesman approved by ABC News. He was taken to Anthony Hospital. A fourth student was moved, but with an unknown injury.

Kelley said he did not know how the suspect continued his injuries, but he did not believe that the law enforcement officers took any rounds.

Kelley said he could not provide any other details, including the suspect’s age or gender.

“I don’t know if our suspect is old enough to drive,” Kelley said.

Authorities said they were looking for an order for the student’s house and closet.

Alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives office responded to the scene.

FBI Director Kash Patel, FBI’s “aware of the tragic situation near Denver” and authorities “to ensure the security of everyone’s full support of local authorities,” he said.

After the shooting, according to law enforcement officers, hundreds of police officers searched for every room on the campus.

Parents were asked to reunite with the students at Bergen Meadow Elementary.
