Donald Trump’s World War 3 confession prompted a visibly alarmed reaction from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during this week’s ‘Peace Summit’.
Sir Keir later claimed the summit represented a “historic day”, with major nations including Egypt, Qatar and Türkiye backing Trump’s Gaza peace proposal.
However, there was an awkward moment during the President’s speech where Starmer looked very worried; The moment came after the lip reader decoded Trump’s five-word threat to Macron during an aggressive handshake.
Rejecting the claim that World War III will start in the region, Trump said, “We will ensure that the Middle East is a safe and secure place.”
He continued: “It won’t happen. There was a time when you thought it might happen… but there won’t be World War III. I hope it never happens, but it won’t start in the Middle East. If we’re smart, we won’t have World War III.” Express USA.

Starmer looked quite surprised when he was caught standing behind Trump pulling his face into the camera.
Starmer had an embarrassing moment as he lined up with other world leaders waiting their turn to greet Trump; this perhaps underlined Britain’s declining influence on the global stage.
Mr Trump was thrust into the spotlight following the signing of a groundbreaking ceasefire agreement with Hamas, as the British Prime Minister was photographed behind Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Sir Keir’s discomfort was clearly visible in photos taken by press photographers as he fumbled around wearing his suit, in stark contrast to the red carpet reception given to the US president.
Hamas released all 20 remaining Israeli hostages, paving the way for the first phase of the agreement: a significant increase in humanitarian aid to devastated areas, a limited withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza’s main urban areas, and the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
The moment US President Trump was interrupted while speaking in Israel
Fresh from a triumphant reception in the Israeli Knesset where lawmakers chanted his name and donned “President Trump for Peace” hats, Trump moved through the crowd like a triumphant leader.
Standing next to Egyptian el-Sissi, he said: “We have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to put old quarrels and bitter hatreds behind us.”
He also called on leaders to “declare that our future will not be governed by the quarrels of past generations.”
Starmer, who made a special trip for the occasion, seized the moment to defend the UK’s participation.

He told the press: “What happens tomorrow is really important, and so what I’ve been discussing with leaders all day is, what role can we play?”
“And I think we, especially the United Kingdom, can play a role in monitoring the ceasefire, but also, based on our experience in Northern Ireland, disabling Hamas’ capabilities and weapons.”
His proposal won support from some delegates, but Mr. Trump, who has vowed to help transform Gaza into the “Riviera of the Middle East,” publicly defended U.S.-led surveillance.
About 200 American troops will support a multinational monitoring force, with Britain playing a secondary role subject to additional talks.

The summit, attended by nearly three dozen countries, took place at a sensitive time.
Trump praised the ceasefire as proof that “everyone said it wasn’t possible to do this, and it’s going to happen, and it’s happening before your eyes.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who chose not to attend the meeting due to the Jewish holiday, had previously praised Trump as “the greatest friend Israel has in the White House.”
