Selections based on a soft part
Race 1:
6. The Sea is My Dance He was out at Scone two starts ago but then returned in style with a final start win at Quirindi on Boxing Day. He is rated the favorite by a large margin in this event and although this will be more difficult, he can repeat the dose in this small field. 7. I think I’m Irish He made three successive starts at Bong Bong, Muswellbrook and Tuncurry before his seventh last start at Orange. This is how he can handle the effort. 3. Mellen Camp He has featured in midfield in his last two starts at Scone and at Newcastle’s Beaumont circuit and looks set to show his best form here. 5. Tea or Coffee It’s been right behind placements lately and not out of it.

Race 2:
8.Fannoir He is debuting and had two tries in the preparation phase. He won the first of these at Scone in April and the last at Tamworth last month. This looks like a good race for him. 1. Agent Maximum He performed well on his Taree debut and should perform well this time too. 3. La Potenza He’s been placed in both of his starts so far and should be there again. 7. Euroka Abby It’s debuting and has gone through a solid trial. It deserves respect.
How to play: Fannoir WON.
Race 3:
10. Focus He made two starts from the spell, his third at the Hawkesbury and his fourth at the Beaumont circuit in Newcastle. He has a solid track record and must be tough to endure. 11.Tetsu Belle It was down the road when it was last produced but it can handle it. 5.Bellevue He has restarted after a fifth-place finish at the Hawkesbury and should be ready to improve. 3. Maximum To spread He’s racing well and could win small money here again with no surprises.
How to play: Focusa WON.
Race 4:
4. Quick Target He has a solid record with two wins and six placings from 18 starts. He’s been racing well by two seconds since his last two starts and just needs to run up to that point to be hard to resist. 3. Climate Control It was raced at speed at Scone when last produced. 8. Kermitisapet He was a last start winner at Taree in May. He recently had a trial and should be ready to perform well.
How to play: EARN Quick Target.
Race 5:
1. exceeding He is a well-bred galloper who went through a number of trials before making his fourth debut after being beaten a few distances at the Beaumont track in Newcastle. He must be ready to continue his work here. 4. Top Speed He has made a few starts and should be primed to run well. 3. Lune D’perfection He hasn’t been in good form lately, but he has more potential to improve. 12. Tesorino performed well the last time it was produced and is no exception.
How to play: Suprasser WB.
Race 6:
1. Etoile Filante It had a solid form and was just behind the settlements before it was written. He has made four starts since resuming and performed well at the Beaumont circuit in Newcastle, finishing third last time out. If he can make that effort, it must be hard to resist. 3. Lord Vettori He races well with a strong win at Grafton two starts ago and hits the line as favorite before the final start seconds at Beaumont. 2. Star Forecast He was in midfield at the Speedway when he was last produced and needs to run all the way there to be hard to hold on to. 6. Herman Said It has a useful record and is not out of it.
How to play: Etoile Filante WON.
Race 7:
Mission 6 Bravo Three starts ago he was a strong winner at Taree and then finished third at Tuncurry. It was on track at Warwick Farm when it was last bred, but it can improve. 5. Imagine We’re There It’s been disappointing lately but can improve. 3. Monty Be Quick It worked well when last built and was placed in the Hawkesbury and was meant to be there. 1. Full Press It is rarely very far away and here it can come into small money.
How to play: Mission Bravo ANY WAY.
Race 8:
6. Antilocapra He continues his spell but hit solid form before the break, including a narrow win for Gunnedah and a close second behind subsequent city winner Super Norwest at the Rosehill Speedway. He just needs to get back to that form to be the one to beat. 3. Fast Henry He took first place at Bathurst in June and followed up with a fourth place finish at Gosford last month. Ready to run well. 2. Navy Steel He was a Muswellbrook winner before finishing midfield at Randwick Highway and has claims. 11. Celestial it’s starting over again and looks pretty fresh and ready to run.
How to play: Antilocapra WON.
Best Bets: Race 5 (1) Over; Race 8 (6) Antilocapra.
Best Value: Race 7 (6) Mission Bravo.
