Sheikh Hasina Sentenced To 6 Months In Prison For Contempt Of Court | World News

Bangladesh’s International Crime Court (BIT) sentenced the Awami League leader and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who was adopted for the court charges on Wednesday in Dakka Tribune reports.
President Justice MD GOLAM MOM MOZUMDER, chaired by Mozumder, adopted a three -member panel decision. The court also sentenced Shaki Akand Bulbul to Gobindanj’s Gaibandha for two months in prison.
This has been sentenced to the first time the Awami League leader was dismissed and he had been exiled 11 months ago.
In local media, LIP, in July, said that he officially blamed Hasina for crimes against humanity on charges of provoking mass murders as part of a country -wide uprising.
According to the reporting by Dakka Tribune, the accusations filed by the Chief Public Prosecutor Muhammad Tajul Islam and his team accuse Hasina as the brain of the brutal repression in 2024 unrest in July and August.
