Tillandsia: the $7 air plant that needs almost no care at all | The Canberra Times

Considering there are around 700 species of tiltlandsia, they all have a wonderfully eccentric variety, with tendrils waving like aliens trying to send a signal to the mother ship. They can be silvery red, yellow, pink, straw, purple or multicolored. Most have many thin leaves, like a bad hairdo. Others have broader, wavy leaves or downward-pointing leaves like a miniature waterfall.
