Armed police officers respond to an incident in a British market town. A cordon was established by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) in Radcliffe on Monday, March 30, following “reports of disturbances”. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers are responding to the incident following reports of a disturbance on Stand Lane, Radcliffe, at around 2.15pm. Roads are currently closed at the scene. Investigations are ongoing.”
The presence of a large number of police officers in the area was reported due to the road closure. Bury Council has released information about the closure of the X and is urging people to “avoid the area if possible”.
