Radhakrishnan Assumes Office of Rajya Sabha Chair

New Delhi: CP Radhakrishnan, who swore as the new vice president on Friday, accused him as the president of Rajya Sabha. Radhakrishnan presented flower tributes at Perna Sthal in the Parliamentary House Complex, where Rajya Sabha Vice President Harivansh, Parliamentary Works Minister Kiren Rijiju and Vice Vice President Arjun Ram Meghwal.
Prerna Sthal contains the statues of India’s elite leaders, freedom fighters and social reformers. Later, Rajya went to the president of Sabha and signed documents by assumed the responsibility of the president of the upper house.
He is the former president of Rajya Sabha. Separately, the Ministry of Interior issued a notification that Radhakrishnan entered his office on September 12th.
