Rahul Gandhi alleges manipulation in voter list, EC rejects

Rahul Gandhi presented Karnataka’s Mahadevpura Assembly as a case study and made five major claims.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi left an atomic bomb against the ruling party BJP and the Election Commission. He held a 1.11 -hour press conference on the irregularities in the voter list. The opposition leader (LOP) made a 22 -page presentation. The Congress leader showed the list of Karnataka voters on the screen and claimed that there were suspicious voters in the voter list. He said that there was evidence of irregularities in the voter list after examining thousands of six -month documents. Gandhi presented Karnataka’s Mahadevpura Assembly as a case study and made five major claims.
He said that there were reiterating voters in the 1st voter list.
2. Voters were recorded in fake and invalid addresses.
3. There were voters collectively at an address.
4. The photo of voters on the voter identity card was invalid.
5. Fraud was processed in Form 6 to make voters.
Opposition leader in Lok Sabha claimed that the Mahadevpura Assembly’s seat was stolen from 6.5 Lakh voters. So these were fake voters. The Karnataka Election Commission took a challenging attitude in Rahul Gandhi’s claims. The Election Commission wrote a letter to Gandhi and asked him to submit a declaration of voters whom he claimed to be named, address and identity. The Karnataka Election Commission said that the draft and last voters list of SSR 2025 were given to the congress in November 2024 and January 2025.
No objection or appeal applied to the list by the Congress. The Commission said that Rahul should say that the names on the voters list are fake. In other words, the Congress did not object to the election commission on a timely voter list. But now the Congress MP makes claims. If Gandhi gave incorrect information, he said that legal action could be taken against him (Chapter 31 of the 1950 RP Law and the Indian Justice Law 2023 Chapter 227). Gandhi said he was a public representative, and everything he said to the public must be considered as his statement.

The Election Commission said that Gandhi should offer evidence about his allegations. If the evidence is real, the EC will definitely take action on it. But Gandhi does not want to give evidence in writing. Gandhi claimed that there was manipulation in the voter list. Why didn’t the Congress object to the draft of the EC’s voter list and its final report? The survey observer still requires evidence that supports the allegations, but Gandhi refuses to submit a declaration.
So BJP also asks questions about Gandhi’s claims. EC to develop the voter list in Bihar is a special revision, ie Sir. 65 lakh names were removed from the voter list in Sir. The opposition accused EC of creating fake voters in Karnataka, while accused of erasing the names of appropriate voters in Bihar. However, even in Bihar, the opposition has not yet made an official objection to EC. The same thing happened in Karnataka.
