Rahul Gandhi Defamation Case Adjourned to July 14

On Wednesday, an MP-MLA Court was postponed to the hearing in a slander case against the allegations that he was insulted against the Minister of Interior Amit Shah against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi until July 14th. The complaint of slander against Gandhi was opened in 2018 by BJP leader Vijay Mishra. Advocate Santosh Kumey said Mishra came together. However, the hearing had to be postponed because the witness did not appear.

In December 2023, the MP-MLA court gave an order against Gandhi. In February 2024, Gandhi surrendered to the court and each received bail at 25,000 RS bail. On July 26, 2024, Gandhi said in court, claiming that the case was part of a political conspiracy against him. Mishra claimed that the congress leader had made objectionable statements against the Shah during the Karnataka Assembly survey campaign.
