Railway Staff Slam Hospital After Loco Pilot’s Death

Haydarabad: Lokomotive pilots from the Southern Central Railway held a protest outside the Central Railway Hospital in Lalaguda on Saturday and claimed that medical negligence led to the death of a 29 -year -old colleague. They raised the slogans against the railway and hospital officials and demanded an investigation. No response from the authorities so far.
According to the protests, only Paracetamol was prescribed to Kumar, which had fire on June 19. Without any development, he visited a diagnostic center on Friday, but the results were delayed. The condition worsened and was brought back to the railway hospital at 8 am on Saturday. He was declared dead at 13:30.
Protesters accused the hospital staff of neglecting and increased the slogans demanding accountability. Loco Pilot and Union Member RS Srijith said, “The platelet number was decreasing and the BP was falling, but no appropriate treatment or referral was arranged,” he said. “They searched for private hospital beds, but they did not move on time. We demand justice,” he said. He survived by a gambling wife and a six -month -old child.
