Rakhine On Fire: Arakan Army, Myanmar Junta Clash Across Three Fronts, Tension Soars Near India | World News

Naypyidaw: Fighting in Myanmar, rebellious forces and military junta climbed once more as a conflict in many places. Junta is trying to push the Arakan army back on three different fronts, known as AA from West Rakhine. These maneuvers turned border areas into heavy conflict zones. AA is trying to strengthen her control in Rakhine, focusing on weakening the Junta rebel group.

Arakan Army, Junta Engineers
The Arakan Army is a member of the Brotherhood Alliance with the National Liberation Army (TNLA) of Ta’ang National Liberation of the National Democratic Alliance Army (Mndaa) and the North Shan province.
In October 2023, AA launched a 1027 operation against Junta. The rebels quickly secured the North Shan in Mandalay and the nearby Mogoke region. In Rakhine, AA is now controlling 14 out of 17 districts with the town of Paletwa in Chin State.
The wars in Rakhine, Bago, Magwe and Ayeyarwady point to a new intensity in Myanmar’s long -standing civil war and emphasize the ongoing struggle for the region and strategic infrastructure in both local and international interests.
