120 Bahadur salutes the 120 brave men who defeated a contingent of 3000 soldiers of the Chinese Army at the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Indochina War. Of these 120 Indian soldiers, two – Ram Chander Yadav and Nihal Singh – continue to stand tall as living symbols of bravery.

120 Bahadur, the upcoming war drama starring Farhan Akhtar, is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The film is based on the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-China war, where 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment defended their posts against a 3,000-man Chinese Army contingent. Farhan essays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the fearless leader of the 13th Kumaon Regiment. Singh sacrificed his life during the war and was posthumously awarded India’s highest military decoration, Param Veer Chakra.

120 Bahadur, which also stars Raashii Khanna, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Eijaz Khan and Ajinkya Deo, is scheduled to release in theaters on November 21. Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment and Amit Chandrra under Trigger Happy Studios, the film is an Excel Entertainment production.
120 Bahadur will clash at the box office on November 21 with adult comedy Mastiii 4 starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and romantic drama Gustaakh Ishq starring Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Mastiii 4 is directed by Milap Mila Zaveri, while Gustaakh Ishq is directed by Vibhu Puri.
