Ram Charan Extends Support To Dancers’ Association, Hailed By The Federation

Lauded for his electrifying dance performances, reigning star Ram Charan has once again proven that his generosity matches his talent. The actor has come forward to support the Dancers Association by personally taking responsibility for providing comprehensive health insurance to every member.
By fulfilling this important commitment, Ram Charan has shown his unwavering support to the dancers who form the backbone of Telugu cinema’s energetic song and dance culture. With the total cost estimated at around Rs 50 lakh, this initiative emerges as a timely and meaningful move amid rising healthcare expenses in the film industry.
Ram Charan’s bond with dancers is very deep. Chart-topping dance numbers in blockbuster films have brought global recognition to Telugu choreography and artistes. Now the actor is giving back by providing long-term security to those who contribute greatly to the visual magic on screen.
Rajeshwar Reddy, former president of Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation, said about the initiative: “Dancers Association is a part of Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation. Ram Charan’s support is widely welcomed as dancers work extremely hard in the industry.”
He also added that dance plays a vital role in Telugu films. “With most Telugu films featuring more than one dance number, dancers are constantly pushing themselves to raise the standards of Telugu cinema. Dance sequences featuring stars like Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have been appreciated globally and Telugu choreographers are doing an excellent job with their unique style,” he said.
According to Reddy, the Dancers Association has over 500 members who undergo rigorous training to perfect each step. “Dancers rehearse for two to three days for each song, practicing foot tapping and various steps to deliver high-energy numbers,” he explained.
He also pointed out the shortage of female dancers in Tollywood. “Due to scarcity of local women dancers, most of them are brought from Mumbai. Dancers from Russia, USA and other countries are also recruited for special requirements,” he concluded.
Ram Charan’s move was widely appreciated and highlighted his respect for the artists who add rhythm, energy and global appeal to Telugu cinema.
