Rapists ‘probably’ forfeit right to choose gender

Nicola Sturgeon said that male rapists should lose their right to choose their gender.

In an interview with ITV, the former first minister said that in order to mark the release of his memory, he was accused of losing all the sense of rationality “about the laws of gender recognition in Scotland.

Sturgeon was arrested in 2023 after being arrested in a female prison before moving to a male facility of the transsexual criminal Isla Bryson.

“I think what I’m going to say now is that everyone who committed the most disgusting male crime against women is probably the right to be the gender they have chosen.”

When the comment was pressed, he added that “it was probably not the best expression to use”.

The former first Minister later described Bryson as a “biological man” and said in the past that it should be “much simpler”.

The Bryson debate came during the debate about the laws of the gender self -defining, which was accepted by Scotland’s MSPs but ultimately proposed. Blocked by the government of the UK.

Sturgeon told ITV: “In this discussion, we lost the whole sense of rationality. I am partly responsible for this.”

SNP Msp Michelle Thomson, who proposed a change in the gender recognition draft to stop the gender recognition certificates given to the rapists, said Sturgeon’s comments were “too late”.

“If he had stopped thinking or interacting about women’s current rights, he would not force the SNP group to vote for temporarily pause the GRCs to be given to the rapists.

He continued: “The decision, the rights of the raped rights should be overshadowed clearly said.

Thomson added: “This was not a feminist’s actions, and it will never happen.

“Therefore, I think Nicola should not listen to others’ views and really apologize for not taking action.”

Sturgeon’s memory will obviously be released on Thursday.
