TV star Matt Wright’s chopper crash saga not over yet

The trial of Reality TV star Matt Wright ended, but the legal struggle continues after trying to mislead the course of justice on a fatal helicopter accident.

The Outback Wrangler star lost his best wife and common star Chris’s Willow ‘Wilson in the February 2022 accident, which left the pilot Sebastian Robinson parapleji.

The accident occurred during a Crocodile-Yumurta Gathering trip in Arnhem Land in the Northern Region, and Mr. Wilson hanged in a line under the shore to fall into the Croc nests in Swampland remotely.

Wright was accused of collapse about the amount of fuel on the machine, falsifying Mr. Robinson flight hours, and being accused of asking a friend of the helicopter “torch”.

On Friday, the jury at the Darwin Supreme Court found him guilty of the first two points, but he could not agree on the third issue of the allegation of “torch”.

Prosecutors worried that Wright had regularly intercounted for researchers’ flight hours of helicopters beyond the official thresholds and that the documents were regularly connected to match the documents.

Apart from the court, Wright said that there was no “winner” in a statement to journalists.

“The ordeal was incredibly difficult for everyone, and it was always difficult to understand why the focus of these investigations was just me and not the reason for the accident.”

However, after the decisions, Wright entered a two -way attack from Mr. Wilson’s widow Dani and Mr. Robinson.

Wilson said that journalists other than Wright tried to mislead the course of justice and did so that they refused a complete, comprehensive and unobstructed investigation about the accident.

His two sons would soon spend the fourth Father’s Day without his father.

“Once again there will be an empty seat on the table, it will constantly remind us of everything taken from us,” he said.

Senior defense lawyer David Edwardson KC worked hard to focus on Mr. Robinson, who was painted as a “party animal” during the hearing.

Mr. Edwardson blamed Mr. Robinson when he proved that Wright wanted Wright to falsify the flight hours in the injured pilot hospital bed.

He claimed that their aim was to focus on Wright to avoid serious charges against Mr. Robinson.

Apart from the court on Friday, Mr. Robinson’s brother Zac Chellingworth read a statement stating that the decisions from the pilot brought some closing for the family.

Mr. Robinson said that trauma for his family was brutal for his family because he learned to live in a wheelchair, that the wounds worsened with the cover of the defendant and could not say the truth.

“I also encountered a malicious and constant lie campaign aimed at destroying my reputation and the reputation of my family. The jury saw the truth.”

Mrs. Wilson is filed against Wright and Civil Aviation Safety Authority during the accident that killed her husband.

Wright has a penalty hearing in October, but it also appeals the criminal decisions through the Court of Appeal Court.

Detective Senior Sergeant Corey Borton, the chief researcher of the case, told reporters, a coronal investigation to come, but whether to conduct a complete investigation, he said.

“My investigation team spent three years at work and got the result we did,” he said.

Wright will be convicted by the Justice Allan Blow player on October 16th.
