Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that the company has brought the advanced Blackwell processor to China while calling for access to the US government to open access to American chipsets.
In addition, he predicted that the artificial intelligence market in the world’s second largest economy would grow by 50% next year.
“The opportunity to bring Blackwell to the Chinese market,” Huang said on Wednesday that Nvidia’s last three -month consequences said. “We must continue to defend the importance of American technology companies in order to lead and win the AI race and help to stack the global standard of American technology.”
Huang visited the White House personally in July and August to secure export licenses for the Nvidia’s Nvidia for the China AI called H20. In August, the White House announced that President Donald Trump and Huang made an agreement that the Nvidia will receive an export license for 15% of Chinese sales of H20, which went to the US government.
After the meeting, Trump said that NVIDIA was open to making an agreement for Blackwell Chips, the latest AI technology, which is currently the latest AI technology.
Huang said that it is better that Chinese AI developers use Nvidia’s chips, preventing export, it is better than force to use homemade Chinese options to encourage the Chinese technology industry to capture the industry.
If Nvidia would release a Blackwell chip in China, Chinese AI developers could cause large amounts of sale as they prefer the most powerful chips existing. In order to comply with the US export regulations, Nvidia would have to change the Blackwell chips to make it slower in certain directions.
“Blackwell Super Leather Developed. I don’t agree with this, Tr Trump said in August, Blackwell’s” negatively developed “agreement before adding that it is possible to make an agreement.
Huang’s rise comments on Wednesday, although the company did not sell a single H20 chip to China for a quarter, the company comes after the company declared that it was 56 to 54 billion dollars in the second quarter of the second quarter of the year. Nvidia said it released an H20 inventory to a customer outside China, which has a sale of $ 650 million.
NVIDIA, as part of the estimation for $ 54 billion income, said it did not rely on any H20 sales in October quarter, but the company could sell between $ 2 billion to 5 billion dollars in the H20 chips, depending on the geopolitical environment.
“If we had more orders, we could create more.” He said.
Although Nvidia received some licenses after the meeting with Trump, he said he did not publish official regulations that summarize how the sales cuts of the US government will work.
“USG officials, USG, USG’nin licensed H20 sales of the expectation of 15% of the revenue will receive, but until today, USG has not published an arrangement coding this requirement.” He said.
Huang told analysts that China is the second largest AI market in the world.
Huang said, “This year, the Chinese market, which I guess is an opportunity for us this year, was able to address competitive products.” He said. “And if this year is $ 50 billion, you expect it to grow 50% a year.”
The latest reports showed that the Chinese government encouraged artificial intelligence developers to use chips grown at home on those from Nvidia.
“We are still waiting for governments and companies trying to determine their purchases and many geopolitical issues trying to determine what they want to do.” He said.
