Real reason Harry and Meghan will never be invited for Christmas | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their two children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, are gearing up for another festive season under the California sun this year. While the family is believed to enjoy Christmas at the Montecito mansion where they have lived since 2020, it is a far cry from the royal Christmases Prince Harry enjoyed growing up.

For much of his life, Harry spent the Christmas period at Sandringham with the Royal Family and enjoyed traditions that have endured over the years. However, the Sussexes had not spent the season with their relatives since 2018, as they spent Christmas 2019 in Canada.

While it’s unclear whether this will change, royal insider Paul Burrell believes an invitation with Harry and Meghan’s names on it will never be on the cards.

According to the former royal butler and close friend of Harry’s late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, the pair “cannot be trusted to keep what happened at Sandringham a secret.”

While royal celebrations are unlikely to be extremely secretive for any reason, it is a private family time where the royal family can enjoy being together without being the center of attention.

It is unlikely that the royal family will want to welcome them back into the fold for Christmas, as Harry and Meghan have previously shared intimate details of private family conversations and events.

speaking on behalf of Casino.org Paul Burrell said of the couple’s future at Sandringham: “This will never happen. I’ve always said it and I’ll say it again: it will never happen.”

He continued: “The reason for this is simple; you need to consider the dynamics of everyone living under the same roof.

“If you injected Harry and Meghan into that mix, that special royal “soup,” it would be a complete disaster.

“The family gets along well because they understand each other and understand the routines and traditions that shape Christmases. Meghan clearly doesn’t and she can’t fit in. Moreover, her presence will make everyone uncomfortable, too.”

“Harry himself would have had a very bad time. There is no place for them at Sandringham now – there never will be, not even when William is king. They certainly cannot be trusted to keep what happens at Sandringham a secret.”
