Horror as trailer collides with pram – three kids rushed to hospital | UK | News

Police are appealing for information after three young children were injured when a trailer crashed into a baby carriage in Dumfries.
The three children, aged eight months, 14 months and 18 months, were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
The injured were then taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Glasgow where their injuries were assessed.
The 18-year-old woman pushing the stroller was also taken to hospital, treated and later released.
The incident occurred on Pleasance Avenue and was reported to police at around 3.15pm on Monday.
The incident occurred when a trailer, believed to have been separated from a Mitsubishi Outlander car, hit a child’s stroller pushed onto the pavement.
The road is currently closed so that an investigation can be carried out at the scene.
Sergeant David Kerr, of Police Scotland’s Highway Policing Unit, said: “Our investigations into this incident are ongoing and we would urge anyone who witnessed this to come forward.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area.”
