Redevelopment Of Mahabubabad Railway Station Nears Completion

Warangal: Mahabubabad Train Station is set for a large opening due to the completion of the redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Chart (ABS). The project, which was carried out with 26.49 Crores at an estimated cost, has progressed rapidly and completed 92 percent of its work.

This project, which aims to provide first -class opportunities to passengers, is part of the vision of the Indian Railway to modernize stations throughout the country. Minister of Union G. Kishan Redy recently confirmed this in the official X-holiday and said that the station would soon be operational for the public.

Redevelopment focuses on improving infrastructure, aesthetics and passenger comfort. The station, which is one of the important Kazipet-Vijayawada stations, serves as an important connection to big cities such as New Delhi, Chennai, Vijayawada and Secunderabad.

Approximately 46 trains operating with two platforms are running and deals with an average of 14,706 passengers per day. Annual RS.87 CRORES will earn income

Among the new and improved facilities include two elevators and a 12 -meter foot overbridge equipped with two escalators to increase accessibility for all passengers, including the elderly and disabled ones. Platforms with renewed roof and modern LED lighting for a brighter and safer environment.

New waiting halls with modern furniture and hygienic toilets, advanced parking facilities to provide convenience for vehicles. Installation of digital screen boards, coach indicators and net signs for real -time train information. Distribution of automatic ticket machines and organized tail lines to ticket meters to facilitate the ticketing process.

Upgrades are designed to meet the increasing expectations of travelers by providing an uninterrupted, safe and convenient travel experience. The comprehensive main plan developed by the Minister of Railways ensures that the station is not only a transportation center, but a comfortable and accessible space for everyone. The modernization of the station is an important step to improve the railway travel in the region.
