Ryan Gosling Exits Daniels’ Upcoming Untitled Film Over Scheduling Issues

Washington: Actor Ryan Gosling has emerged from Universal Pictures’ untitled event film directed by the famed duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as Daniels. According to Deadline, the actor, who was previously in talks to be the lead actor of the project, will no longer be able to take part in the film due to scheduling conflicts. The project was gearing up for a summer shoot in Los Angeles after securing a California tax credit, but was unable to move past its planned production timeline. As a result, it turned out that it was not possible to align Gosling’s availability with the studio’s schedule, and the conclusion of the deal was prevented. Although no specific reason has been officially stated, Gosling’s recent professional commitments appear to have played a major role, according to Deadline.

The actor is currently riding high with the success of ‘Project Hail Mary’, which is backed by Amazon MGM Studios and has grossed over $300 million worldwide since its release on March 20, according to Deadline. In addition, Gosling had completed a long shoot of his new movie ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ towards the end of 2025.
