West is best economically as eastern states left behind

The West is again the best in economic circles, but the major gains on the other side of Nullarbor have left the economists and Eastern states.
A support in housing construction pushed South Australia to the second position on Queensland and Victoria in the latest state report on Monday.
Western Australia continues to be the best performance of the country for the fourth flat quarter with strong returns in retail expenditure and business investment, but a turmoil can be on the horizon.
“We see that Western Australia has lost some momentum, R Ryan Felsman, Chief economist, said.
“It has been growing rapidly for the last two or three years, and the population increase has been the highest for a while.”
The report lists the economic performance of Australian states based on eight basic indicators such as economic growth, retail expenditures, unemployment, population growth and housing start.
Some states, such as WA and Queensland, have natural resources advantages compared to others, while smaller judicial zones such as Tasmania and the North region are naturally lower due to smaller population.
The report shows how it performs according to the long -term average of each state economy.
The leadership of the nation in construction and housing pushed the Eastern states where the housing problems continued.
NSW, Victoria and the housing investment in the Law are roughly the same as ten years ago, but Mr. Felsman said that general improvements in the economy should improve the country’s expectations throughout the country.

“Heavy -mortgaged household peoples feel the benefits of two interest rates on the road,” he said.
“If you add this to a better real wage growth, the cost of life relieves pressure, which should lead to a welcome in the consumption of households.”
Queensland ranked third, but its growth was prevented by decreasing coal and agriculture exports due to the effects of tropical cyclone Alfred.
Higher relative unemployment pushed Victoria from the second to the fourth place, while Tasmania, NSW, Action and Northern region completed the rankings respectively.
