US judge dismisses terrorism charges against Mangione

A New York State Judge rejected terrorism against Luigi Mangione during the murder of Health Insurance Manager Brian Thompson in December 2024, but was accused of second -2 -year -old murder.
Justice Gregory Carro in Manhattan announced the decision shortly after wearing a bronze prison outfit with shackles on Mangione’s lower Manhattan courtroom and shackles on his feet.
In his written decision, the judge said he did not think that killing the New York Law only because the ideology was motivated by the ideology, although there was no doubt that killing was not ordinary street crime.

Last week, the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk fueled the fear of an increase in the political violence of the US.
The suspect in the murder of Kirk is expected to be officially accused of state crimes in Utah on Tuesday Tuesday, Tyler Robinson.
Elected officials from both Republican and Democratic Parties condemned to kill.
The murder of Thompson was also widely condemned by public officials, while Mangione has become a folk hero to some of some of the upright health costs.
On Wednesday morning, a small group of Mangione supporters gathered except for the Alt Manhattan Courthouse.
One was wearing a green costume of Luigi, the character of Nintendo, and the other was kept with the word “health service is a human right”.
Approximately two dozen members of the people – mostly young women – took place behind the courtroom to watch the trial.
One wore a black T -shirt with the words “Ozgur Luigi” written in white letters.
The trial dates have not yet been determined in the state or federal case.
Mangione has been detained in Brooklyn since his arrest in December.
