‘Minor’ increase in sick reporting by pilots at Air India following the June 12 crash, says government

After the June 12 Air India accident, there was a “a small increase ında in the patient leaves of Air India pilots.
Civil Aviation State Minister Murlidhar Mohol Lok Sabha’ya “Air India, after the AI-171 accident, the pilots of all fleets reported a small increase in the patient leaves,” he said.
BJP deputy Jai Prakash was answered by the airline team after the accident. MP also gave information about the measures accepted to reduce trauma and stress between the crew.
The Minister provided data for June 16, ie four days after the accident, and reported that 112 pilots were sick. Among them were 52 commanders and 61 first officers.
Some sources between the pilots claim that the daily patient reporting in Air India is between 40-50. There are about 3,500 pilots employed with Air India.
