Rescuers race to free one person trapped in motorhome after crash that also injured for others

One person has been trapped in a caravan and others have been injured in a serious crash in the South West.

The incident happened just before 10.20am on Sunday on Boronia Road close to the junction with Wallis Road at Rosa Glen, about 12km east of Margaret River.

Police said a caravan with four people inside crashed into a tree, trapping one and injuring others.

The RAC Rescue helicopter is en route to the scene and emergency personnel are on scene.

A St John WA spokesman said two ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

They were treating two women and two people in their 20s.

The extent of the women’s injuries is unknown.

The other two people are estimated to have minor injuries.
