Voter awareness exhibition organised at Marina Beach

An idli-themed voter awareness exhibition was held at Marina Beach in Chennai on Friday to promote 100% voting in the district ahead of voting for the Assembly elections on April 23. The exhibition featured idlis resembling electronic voting machines, a finger marked with ink used for voting, and other symbols highlighting full voter participation. According to a press release, the initiative is part of a series of awareness activities being carried out in 16 Assembly constituencies in Chennai district.

These efforts include cultural programmes, public demonstrations, musical events, gaana, DJ shows, flash mobs, advertisements at bus stops, quiz shows and awareness buses with model voting booths. and promotion through buses and autorickshaws. The statement stated that election messages were also sent to voters via mobile phones and awareness advertisements were displayed at the Chepauk stadium during IPL matches.
